Studio Friday: Let's Face It!

So, I've always loved reading the Studio Friday posts that Ali Edwards post on her blog every Friday. I always find them so inspiring and creative. So I went to the Studio Friday Blog to see what the challenge was for this week.

This week's topic for Friday February 23rd : LET'S FACE IT!

...whatever 'it' is. What have you been procrastinating about and dragging your heels to do? Does it concern your studio space like tidying up maybe or rearranging your desk or painting those walls in that wonderful new colour? Maybe you need to face something else like that awesome idea that has you sleepless at night because your inner critic has you chickening out planting doubts in your head? Or maybe it is a whole lot of unfinished projects, a letter that needs to be sent, that tool needs buying?

Well, I knew exactly what my challenge would be...finishing my Australia scrapbook that I started on over five years ago. In 2000, I went to Australia with my dad on a business trip. I had lots of great photos to scrapbook and my Grandmas bought me this beautiful album to get me started.

Well, I've been working on it for years. I've finished lots of other projects, but this one has been sitting on the self! So, this weekend, my mom and I will be attending a scrapbook retreat and it's getting finished! Every single page will be done! I'm so excited!! I can't wait to put it back on the shelf...completed. Here it is all packed up and ready to go! Have a great weekend.

Welcome! I'm in a similar situation with a scrapbook I started about my old house. Now it's torn down and I'm so busy, it's hard to find the time to work on it again!

I love your page with the Koalas. great job!
